Welcome to the homepage of the Sino-German Research Foundation for TCM.
Our Society aims at scientifically proving the biological effects and clinical efficacy of Chinese medicine as a basis for integration in the worldwide canonic teaching of medicine.
Members from many countries have joined us on our way to creating an international and first class scientific network.

In the last 2 1/2 years it has been difficult to meet in person due to the Covid pandemic. Nevertheless we have still been able to implant and realize scientific projects in universities. institutions and cooperations including Shanghai university of TCM, Shanghai Research Center for Acupuncture and Meridians, Shanghai Qigong Institute, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Acupuncture Mechanism and Acupoiont Function, Fudan University, State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, Macau University of Science and Technology, University of Heidelberg, Heidelberg School of Chinese Medicine, Hamburg, Graz, Nightingale Hospital in Instanbul, and others. We were also successful in creating new research groups at the University of Heidelberg , the PIaget Institute in Portugal, and other places.
Our members in Rome, Istanbul and Shanghai were able to publish major textbooks and establish curricula for the education of TCM.
We hope that after this pandemic, we can put most of that into practice and hope that the year of the Tiger will allow us to move forward again with all our goals.
